Billiards: Davis 24407, including 229 and 203. McConachy 20843, including 322 and 361, unfinished. Snooker: Davis 1426, McConachy 935. Newman 21,253, including 615 and 280. Lindrum 19395, including 1826, 534, 210, 303. • Snooker: Newman 14'78, Lindrum 1014. Lindrum’s 1826 break was the-highest ever made in Liverpool, and the highest during the present season. He played rapidly, and without a flaw till he broke down in attempting a difficult masse cannon.
CYCLING ROAD RACE.
SYDNEY, October 25.
The fourth stage to Shepperton, in the Sydney-Melbourne cycle race, resulted: —Nicholson 1, Thomas 2, Lamb 3, Opeprman 4. The Frenchman Bidot collapsed upon crossing the finishing line. It is doubtful whether he will continue. His countryman, Mauclair, is now leading in the aggregate time, holding an advantage of 9£ minutes over Bidot and Opperman.
