WRESTLING. WELLINGTON, October 1. Following a public riieeting held on Friday evening last, for the purpose of forming a Wellington branch of the New Zealand Wrestling Association, the Provisional Committee then appointed, met this evening, for the purpose of approving rules for the new organisation, and appointing executive officers. The following were duly elected. —President, M. S. Carr; Vice-President, Colonel G. Mitchell; Chairman of Committee, G. W. Slade; Hon. Secretary-and Treasurer, W. A. Thomson; Hon. Surgeon, Dr Hugh Steele; Hon. Solicitor, J. J. McGrath; Members of Executive: S. L. Johnson, J. McDonald, J. W. Murphy, Dr Steele, G. W. Slade, T. Coltman, L. Salek, P. Wood, and C. G. Porter. It was decided to proceed at once to incorporate the Association under the Incorporated Societies Act, and for this purpose, application for incorporation was signed by those present at the meeting, and the rules of the Association were duly approved, and instructions given for immediate registration.
