CANADIAN WHEAT POOL. [BY CABLE —PRESB ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] OTTAWA, August 22: Convinced that a state of emergency exists in Saskatchewan,, the Wheat Pool, representing sixty per cent, of the total yield of the province, is seeking Government aid, and' the formation of a Wheat Board to market the whole of the years’ crop, including that of non-members. A resolution advocating the Bbard was presented to the Saskatchewan Government, which has called a conference of Western Government representatives. WOMEN’S CONFERENCE. HONOLULU, August 22. The Women’s Conference has organised a Pan-Pacific Women’s Association, dedicated to strengthening peace, and improving social conditions of the Pacific peoples. The Association plans to hold conferences every two to five years. Australia and New Zealand are among the charter members.
