FIRES ON SHIPS
WOOL CARGO ABLAZE. (By Cable—Press Assn.—Copyright.) CAPE TOWN, November 7. The Dutch cargo steamer Sumatra returned to the docks, after a night, at sea, with her cargo of wool on fire. Fire, engines waited her arrival. The cargo is being unloaded. The covering of her propellor shdft was scorched.
ANOTHER OUTBREAK. LONDON, November 7. A message from Aden states that the steamer Abbekirk of Hamburg, en route from Antwerp to Brisbane, ar- • rived at Aden with fire in No. 5 hold. The flooding of the hold will probably be necessary.
