SCHNEIDER CUP RACE

Italy is sending ten racing seaplanes for the final practice over the Schneider trophy course in the Solent. The three best performers are being select? ed for the race on September 7. It is reported that the fastest of the Italian machines reached _ 360 miles an hour, in the preliminary trials. One seaplane has engines m front and. rear, totalling 2000 horse power, the pilot sitting between them.
