LEAVES SON TWO STUDS
EXTRAORDINARY WILL.
Publication of the text of the will of the late Mr. Thomas F. Ryan, disposing of an estate estimated at between 100,000,000 dollars and 500,000,000 dollars (£20,000,000 and £100,000,000) shows that the report current recently that h’e had cut off his son, Mr. Allen J. Ryan, who is now residing in Montreal, was correct, s<ys an exchange. “I give an bequeath my white' pearl studs to my son, Allen J. Ryan,” is the wording of the will, which leaves the bulk of the fortune to the widow and other children, but the children of Mr. Allen J. Ryan will share with the other grandchildren in certain trust funds..
The difference between father and so iris, understood to have been when Mr. Thomas Ryan contracted his second marriage, but it was accentuated when Mr. Allen Ryan became involved in speculation in Stutz Motor shares, the break in. the price of which, in 1920, was followed by the young man’s bankruptcy two years later. The will of Mr. Thomas Ryan revokes all the bequests of any beneficiary who undertakes legal action against it.
