A pleasant little farewell tq Miss Henry, Infant Mistress, took place at the school on Thursday afternoon last when she was presented with a beautifril zyldriite toilet set from the teachers and children. The presentation was made by Miss Pat Darby, who made, a neat speech on behalf of the children. Mrs Jones apologised for Mr Joiies’ absence, he . halving gone to the Jubilee of his old school., Miss Hamptop ,spoke, of the regret they all felt at Miss Heriry’s departure,., She having been nearly four years at the school. A concert programme .was given, by several of the pupils.,and.the singing of “For Shp.’S' a Jolly t Goqd Fellow,” „,ahd “Auld Lang .Syfie” thought the proceedings to a close. . , After several Wet. clays, Sunday and Monday Wei l e fine rind sunny, Sunday, being a typical EasteiMorn. Light frosts are being experienced the last few mornings.
