The Kartigi sails on Thursday with a full load of timbei* for Sydney and Newcastle.
The Kaponga is due here to-day from Auckland, with general cargo and Will load coal for Wellington and Gisborne, completing at Westport. The Kamona leaves Gisborne to-day for Lyttelton and Greymouth, to load coal here for New Plymouth and Auckland.
The Kaimai leaves Wellington tomorrow for Greymouth, to load coal for Miramar and Wellington. The Orepuki arrived on Saturday afternoon from Nelson direct, with general cargo. . She loads timber for Petone.
The Regulus leaves Wellington to-morrow for Nelson, Westport and ’Greymouth with general cargo. After discharge she loads coal for Nelson nnd Wanganui.
Thae Tees left Chathams at 5 o’clock yesterday evening for Lyttelton.
“TAMAHINE’S” ENGINE TROUBLE.

WELLINGTON, March 23
Owing to the development of further trouble with her auxiliary Diesel engines, the steamer Tamahine is unable to make her usual trip to Picton. Passengers holding tickets made out for the Tamahine may use them to travel on the Arahura which will call at Picton en route from Wellington to Nelson. Repairs to the Tamahine’s engines will be carried out over the week-end, and it is expected that she will sail again for Picton at the usual time on Monday afternoon.
