At San Mateo, in the second polo match, the Australian-Hawaiian team lost to the Burlingham Blues by 17 to 15. The Australians started with a handicap of twelve, and actually scored fifteen goals to their opponents’ five. EASTER SPORTS. To complete the arrangements for the sports gathering on Easter Saturday at the Recreation Ground, a meeting of the United Athletic Sports Club was held last evening at the Pavilion, Mr J. Guy presiding, when the following officials were appointed: Judges, Messrs T. Mclntosh, J. Guy and G. E. Perkins; referee, Mr W. J. Joyce; starter, Mr A. White; assistant starter, Mr W. Duffy; time-keeper, Mr W. Hughes, gate-keepers: Messrs R. Boddy, W. Blair,- A. Hopkinson, C. Hicks, M. Phillips, and I. Saunders; call steward, Mr W. Casey; steward, Mr F. V. Dennehy; road stewards: Mr F„ Turtill and D. Wright; sideshows: Messrs I. Watson, R. Williams, and F. McGirr. Nominations close with Mr C. Neville, secretary, and Mr I. Steel, assistant secretary, on Monday evening. THREE MILE SPORTS. The Three-Mile Sports taking place on Friday, April 5, provide an excellent programme for athletes and bushmen.
