Johnny Hill (Scotland), by beating Ernie Jarvis (Millwall), on points in a fifteen rounds bout at the Albert Hall, retained the British flyweight championship.

At the Leichardt Stadium to-night, Taney Morgan,, of Wales, outpointed Vic.'White, paper weight champion of Australia in fifteen rounds, after a good fight. GREYMOUTH CONTESTS. On Saturday next the Greymouth Boxing Association is staging the best contest that can be procured in New Zealand at the present time, that between J. Broadfoot, of Auckland and C. Pocock, of Christchurch. This pah’ have fought previously in Christchurch, and it was proclaimed the best fight seen there for a long time. Local boxing patrons can therefore look forward to seeing a great fight next Saturday. Four preliminaries will preceed the big event, and as these have been specially selected, they should be most interesting, especially the six round bout between “Twist” Jaggers and T. Croft.
