MEXICAN REBEL LEADER

MEETS DEATH BRAVELY.

(Australian Press Association.) (By Cable—Press Assn.—Copyright.)

MEXICO CITY, March 22. General Aguire knew how to die. An official bulletin states that as the rebel commander faced the firing squad, he said: “At this solemn moment I wish to be an example to the Army. I die tranquilly, with the knowledge that I did what I believed to be my duty, but I counsel all not to follow my course. Now, boys, shoot here (as he covered his heart with his hand). Don’t hit my face.”
