In the Rugby football international game, played at Twickenham, in dull weather, in the presence of 58,000 spectators, Ireland defeated England by six points to five. TEAM FOR NEW ZEALAND. LONDON, February 9. Mr James Baxter, who w r as president of the Rugby Union two years ago, has been appointed manager of the team that is going to New Zealand on March 10, 1929.
