TIGER PAYNE WINS. (Australian Pr'ess Association.) (By Cable—Press Assn.—Copyright.) NEW YORK, November 11. Tiger Payne (12.1), the coloured boxer, who is a contender for the heavyweight title, decisively defeated George Larocco (13.1), over ten ■'rounds. BOYS’ TOURNAMENT. Intending competitors in the Boys’ Boxing Tournament are reminded that nominations close with the secretary, Mr F. W. Baillie, on Thursday next. The tournament is to be held in the Town Hall on November 22. Entries are coming in well for the various sections, and the Association is assured of close on fifty contestants nominating.
