M. POINCARE RE-CALLED. (Australian Press Association.) (By Cable—Press Assn—Copyright.) PARIS, November 10. After President Doumergue consulted for several days with the leaders of all parties, he lastly conferred with M. Poincare for one hundred minutes to-day, at the conclusion of which, M. Poincare accepted the task of trying to form a Government, the President allowing him to issue a statement setting forth the circumstances. Thus M. Poincare was enabled to point out that he is still of opinion that the Government must be a coalition. of the largest parties, but the SociaistRadical Congress at Angers, showed that they failed to appreciate the necessity for' a National Government. He would endeavour, however, to form a Government, inspired by true Republican principles. M. Poincare warned the country that if resistance to the Parliamentary finance Committee continued, notably upon the naval and military estimate, no Government would last longer than a few weeks.
