Poincare accepts President Doumergue’s invitation to form a new Cabinet. A communique from the President s Palace sets out that M. Poincare will seek to form a “Ministry of Republican Concord” which is almost equivalent to Government by a National Union. The hew Ministry, is expected to be composed of the most prominent leaders, regardless of party, affiliations with the probable exception of the four resigned Radical Socialist Ministers. After a conference with the President, M. Poincare immediately negotiated a series of conferences with the leaders, which are continuing to-night. M. Poincare’s decision follows an almost unanimous press appeal for him to sacrifice his personal inclinations on the grounds of patriotism.
