SOCCER TEAMS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —After having read your issue on. Saturday evening, in which “Pistol” gave the Management Committee a lead in regards to having a first-class team in Greymouth, I feel assured that if “Pistol’s” suggestion is acted upon, it will be a great boon to Soccer on,the Coast, and would save a great deal of trouble with the players, who have run riot in the past season. I now wish to thank “Pistol” for his notes this season, as I think he is the finest writer we have on the Coast, and I trust .that though the close season is upon us that he will still write to your paper and give a good description on how the game should be played by each individual member in the team. Thanking you for inserting this. —Yours etc., THANKFUL FOR PISTOL. Greymouth, October 1.
