WHITEBAITERS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —My sympathy is for those ■whitebaiters who have to stand and freeze whilst two other men stahd on a. fairly rough though comfortable platform, which is npt only an eyesore, but probably the cause of the most unfair competition of any of its kind in New Zealand. What those in charge are thinking about is’ beyond me, and the sooner they end this monopoly the better for all, especially for those poor women who, try to catch a feed for their poor kiddies. —Yours etc., FAIRPLAY.
