A constable in going his rounds found, close on midnight, a small package on the ground. If he had not inadvertently kicked it with his foot, it would have lain undetected. Picking it. up, he found that it was an ounce packet of tobacco. However, on examining it closely, he made the discovery that it was not ordinary tobacco, but Bear’s, which some sorrowing owner had lost. The cons!
