Mr R. 'Adamson arrived yesterday from Christchurch, and will proceed to South Westland.
Mr F. H. Denton'(Town Clerk), who has been attending the Jubilee ot Christchurch, returned yesterday.
Rev. W. Greenslade arrived yesterday from Christchurch, on a visit to his father. He was accompanied by his son.
Mr J. P. Irvine, who has been visiting Hanmer and Christchurch, returned yesterday.
Mr G. Perotti, who was attending the Jubilee at Christchurch, returned yesterday.
Mrs R. W. Baumgart, arrived from Wellington yesterday, on a visit to her mother, Mrs Chunn, Murray Street.
Miss E. Cunningham (Wellington) arrived yesterday, and is the guest oi Mrs W. Cunningham.
The death was announced from Wellington to-day of Judge Hosking of the Supreme Court.
Mr and Mrs M. Sherlock and Mr and Mrs L. J. McKendry, who have been on their honeymoon trips, returned yesterday to Greymouth.
Mrs Af Murray and her daughter, formerly resident at. Totara Flat, airived yesterday, on a visit to the district.
Mr and Mrs F. H. Williams, of Hokitika, who have been spending a holiday in the North Island, returned yesterday.
Mr James Luey will leave for Wellington to-morrow to take up his Permanent residence, having purchased an interest in a business there.
Mr J. H. Brimble, of the Greymouth Municipal Gas Department's staff, who is confined to his room by illness, shows no sign of improvement.
Sir Charles P. Skerrett is stated to be maintaining the improvement shown in the last few days. Press Assn.
Mrs J. W. Greenslade and the Misses C. and N. Tennent. who have been visiting Christchurch, returned yesterday.
Mr Garnet Winchdster, of the staff of the Union Bank of Australia Ltd., Christchurch, formerly stationed at Greymouth, arrived yesterday on holiday.
Mr Alphonsus O’Donnell, manager of the Paparoa Mine, who has been attending a meeting of the Company’s directors at Wellington, returned yesterday. , '
The wedding of Mr R. E. Pugh, of the Invercargill Railway Workshops, youngest son of Mr and Mrs A. Pugh, High Street, Greymouth, to Miss Kathleen Preston of Greymouth. will take place at Christchurch on Monday.
It is understood that the Mayor of Greymouth (Mr J. W. Greenslade) is to become a member of the Greymouth Harbour Board, vice Mr W. Leitch/ now residing at, Christchurch.

The death of Mrs Robert Ball, senr., occurred at Rangiora on Monday, after an illness of about a week, following a seizure. Deceased was an old resident of Rangiora; and is survived by her husband, two sons, Messrs R. Ball (Railway Workshops Greymouth), and William (Christchurch), and two daughters, Mrs Brown (North Island), and Miss D. Ball (Rangiora).
