W AIR ARAP A CLUB’S MEETING. (Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, January 15. The Wairarapa Motor Club held its annual race meeting on the Taratahi Racecourse on Saturday, in showery weather, with a wet track. Intermittent drizzling showers caused the riders a lot of trouble, principally with sparking plugs. The club s new system of raping by classification, instead of by handicap, proved successful, and was approved by the riders. Coleman broke his gear box in the first start, and took no further part in the meeting. Results: — Novice Handicap, 5 miles. —W. J. Denby (2 3-4 Harley) scr. 1; J.
