WOMAN OVERBOARD
SAILORS’ FATAL HEROISM (Australian & N.Z. Cable Aesn.) LONDON, June 13. When the Anchor liner California, was six hundred miles from England, a woman slipped overboard. Two sailors jumped over to rescue her, but the vessel was going at such a speed that they soon were far astern, and before a boat could be launched, they all were drowned.
