WATERSIDER CONVICTED.

AUCKLAND, April 14.
A waterside worker, Walter Hodgson was last week charged in the Police Court with selling a document entitled “The Path to Power,” which, it was alleged, encouraged lawlessness and violence, contrary to the War Regulations Act. In his reserved judgment, to-day, Mr W. R. McKean, S.M., held that the book encourages lawlessness, contrary to the Act, and that, as defendant sold the book, he must be convicted. A fine of £lO was imposed.
