“WRONGFUL ACTS”

ARMOURS’ GRAIN DEALINGS.

(Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.)

NEW YORK, April 12.

The Chicago Board of Trade has ordered the suspension of the Armour Grain Company, which for several decades has dominated trading in the wheat pit, and which is considered one of the largest concerns of its kind in the world.

The suspension follows upon the investigations of a State Legislative Committee, showing manipulations on the part of the Company, which the Board of Trnde considers wrongful acts. It is believed that the suspension will terminate the Company’s activities as a live factor in the grain trade.
