ROYAL TOUR
OUTLINE OF PROGRAMME. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association). MELBOURNE, October 23. The official itinerary of the Duke of York’s tour was made available by the Governor-General.
It shows that they will leave Portsmouth on January 6, and sail via Las Palmas to Jamaica, where they arrive on January 20, staying three days; thence proceeding via the Panama Ca'nal to Suva, arriving on February 17, and staying two days. They will then proceed to Auckland, arriving on February 22 and will spend two days in Auckland.' The party will then visit various parts of the North Island, including Rotorua. They reach Wellington on March 5, staying three days in the capital city. They then tour the South Island, visiting the West Coast, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Invercargill, leaving for Sydney on Alarch 22, and arriving on Alarch 26. After visiting all the States, they will sail from Fremantle on Alay 23 and return home via Alauritius and the Suez Canal, arriving at Portsmouth on June 27.
