At the Congress of the Royal Australasian Ornithologists’ Union, unanimous approval was given to a motion urging that the New Zealand Government should establish more island sanctuaries upon which New Zealand species or birds now in danger of extinction, might be preserved. It was resolved that the next Congress be held at Perth.
