The death is announced of Mr Geo. Loveday, of Ohura, aged 63. Deceased was a well-known rifle shot, and represented N. Z. at Bisley in 1902. He was a member of the team -which put up a world’s record in Oamaru in 1898. His son Leslie won the King’s Prize at Bisley, 1919. —Press Assn. Mrs Cumming, relict of the late Andrew 'Cumming, passed away at her residence, Lower Kokatahi, this morning, from paralysis, she having taken a stroke two days ago. Deceased wasabout 84 years of age, and a very old and respected resident of the district. She leaves a family of six daughters— Mrs Beck (Westport), Mrs T? Staines (Hokitika), Mrs R. Harcourt (Koiterarigi), and three unmarried, also two of Kanieri- Her husband died eight yea, I’3 ago.
