Taken at Greymouth at 9 a.m. today.—Wind, east; barometer, 29.73; thermometer, 46 ; tides, moderate ; bar considerable swell. Rain 25pts. AT OTHER CENTRES. Wanganui ; Light easterly wind, blue sky, tides moderate, sea smooth, rain 32pts. ; Wellington : Light S.E. wind, cloudy ; Christchurch : Light SAW wind, blue sky ; Dunedin : Light N.E. wind, blue sky, tides moderate.
WEATHER FORECAST. “Tbe indications are for land and variable breezes, but westerly moderate to strong prevailing. The weather appears to be cloudy and unsettled. The barometer has a falling tendency. Sea rough swell and tides good.”
