NEW YORK, Sept. 15. A Chicago message states: “In order to protect boxing, the Illinois Athletic Commission to-day disqualified and suspended for life Phil Rosenberg, the bantamweight champion of the world and handed the title to Bud Taylor. Thursday’s bout between the two was cancelled. The commission said that Harry Segal, Rosenberg’s manager, wds also suspended because he ignored the rules pertaining to forfeits, and, further, because of the injection of political and other influences pertaining to their appointment of a referee.” jMIOMMryTWBMMIBMPBHBBKMqEi
