The social at the Catholic Hall on Thursday evening was largely attended, twenty tables being in play for t l ’’/ : enchr“. The ladies’ prizes were won by Mrs Taylor and Mrs Clark, the .gents’ by Messrs Jos. Nohra and G. E. Hubbard. Miss Farrell supplied the dance music and Mr S. Duffy was a mo-t eflicient M.C.
Mr 11. Bicknell; of Christclrnrch, secretary of the Murray Creek Mines, is on a business visit to Reefton.
