n The wedding was solemnised® this morning-at St. Patrick’s Church, of ' Mr Ignatius Whitaker, of Wellington, and Miss , Mary Sampson, eldest daughter, of Mr and; Mrs Wm. Samp- I son, of Albert,. Street. The Nuptial ( . Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father ( O’Regan. .' After the ceremony the ! wedding party were entertained, at a ■ jecherche breakfast at the bride’s ? parents. The bride was dressed'in , white satin, and wore the orthodox white veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Miss L. Sampson,' ? ' who 'wore- pink. satin and' Miss V. Whitaker, of Wellington, who wore shot green tafetta. The bridegroom’s present'to the bride was a, ( gold wristlet watch. The bride’s pre- 1 sent to the bridegroom was a - -'set of ( military brushes. < The bridegroom ( presented th© bridesmaids each with a string' of pearls. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Cyril Heaphy and Mr G. .White was groomsman. Mr and Mrs. Whitaker left by the Christ- .<■ church exress, en route to'the North 1 Island, where the honeymoon will be spent, prior to taking lip their resi-j dence in Wellington. The bride travelled in a fawn coat frock with hat to. match. > ■ \ EISING—CREAGH, Mr William Eising, of Pahiatua, was married this moirning at St. Patrick’s Church to Miss Eileen Creagh, third daughter of Mr and Airs James Creagh, of Brunner. Nuptial t Mass was celebrated by the 'Rev. Father Long, assisted by Rev. Father . .Madden. The bride, who was attended by her sister, Miss Kathleen Creagh, wore shell pink georgette over pink satin, a Limerick lace veil, arid a coronet of silver leaves. The bridesmaid, Miss K. Creagh;’ wore a dress of shot charineuse. The bridegroom was attended by Air Caigou. The bride’s mother, Mrs Creagh, wore a braided navy costume and navy hat; the bridegroom’s mother (Mrs Eising), navy costume and black hat; Mrs Stewart: (Nelson), aunt of the bride, grey satin and black hat; Mrs Cos-" grove (aunt), navy costume and "black hat; Mrs Minehan (Ross), cream charmeuse, and Mrs M. Minehan (Cobden), ?: a biscuit-coloured costume and black hat. After the ceremony the party was entertained at breakfast in Everybody’s Tea Roohis, where 1 about sixty guests were present. The following toasts were proposed : “Bride and Bridegroom,” Rev. Father Long, supported by Father Riordari ; “The Bridesmaid,” Mr W. G. Eising and Mr Caigou; “The Parents of the ’Bride and Bridegroom,” Rev. Father Madden, Mr Creagh and Air A. Eising; ‘‘The Clergy,” Air Al. Johnstone, responded to by Rev. McMonagle; “Absent Friends,” Mr B. Creagh and Mr G. McPeak. • Air and Airs Eising left for their future home at Pahiatua this afternoon, travelling via Westport and Nelson.
