city. Mr. F. A. Elliott is now purser of the Maraoa, vice Mr. T. G. Harding, who is on holiday leave. Mr. W. J. Cannon has succeeded Mr L. C. Davies as chief engineer of the Komata. The Regulus arrived this morning from Wanganui to load a part cargo of coal,. She proceeds to Westport to complete loading for Nelson. The Waimea left Onehunga on Friday for Nelson and Coast with general cargo. The Titoki is due to-night from Wellington, Nelson and Westport,with general cargo. After discharge she loads coal for Wellington. The Waipori sailed this morning with a part load of coal for Napier and Tauranga. She proceeded to Westport to complete The Kaiapoi is scheduled to sail tomorrow morning with timber for Melbourne. The Kittawa is due to-day from Dunedin and Timaru, via Westport. After discharge she loads coal and tiin-
ber for Wellington. The Ngatc-ro is expected to sail from Wellington to-day for Greymouth direct. On arrival she loads coal and timber for Miramar. The Coolana is expected to arrive about October 7 to load timber for Melbourne. The Kakapo arrived to-day from Dunedin, via Timaru. She loads coal for Bluff and completes at Westport for Oamaru and Dunedin, AT OTHER PORTS. WESTPORT, September 15. Sailed at 12.15 p.m., Tees, for Greymouth.
