A general meeting of residents of Ikamatua will be held in, the schoolroom on Thursday, May 1, at 8 p.m. to discuss important, business in connection with the building of a, Public Hall. A full attendance is requested. A gent’s light overcoat has been lost. A reward is offered.
Mark Sprot and Co will sell at their rooms on Thursday, May 15, at 2 p.m., a farming property near Mawheraiti railway station. Particulars from advertisement. To-night in Carey’s. Hall,, the Cobden Ladies’ Hockey Club will hold a euchre tournament and dance to open the season. Williams’ full orchestra will supply the music. Supper will be provided. Hahn’s motor bus will leave the Greymouth Post Office on Thursday evening at 7 o’clock for the Blackball dance.
The Salvation Army conducted by Ensign Fraser will held a special prayer meeting this evening at 8 o'clock. Everyone welcome.
