Both were clothed in night attire. The police believe that' Mrs 'Saeter first administered poison to her daughter, then took some herself. A curious phase of the tragedy is that by the. afternoon’s post,' Superintendent Childs received a letter signed by Mrs. Saeter, in which she expressed the intention of taking the lives of her daughter and herself. The police immediately proceeded to the residence and found the. bodies as stated. Domestic troubles are supposed to be. the cause of the tragedy.
