NEWS AND NOTES

' From PARKINSON AND CO., Chemists and Photographic Dealers, GREYMOUTH. HOW TO TAKE MEDICINE. Never take medicine without looking at the label. Never take medicine in the dark. Use a medicine glass, if possible. Spoons vary greatly, and give only approximate quantities. Shake the bottle. Pour with the label upward. This keeps the label clean and legible. Castor oil can be taken easily with orange juice. Beat up with a spoon and drink rapidly. The bitterness of Epsom Salts is decidedly lessened by dissolving it in water containing a little lemon juice. Always take medicine containing iron through a glass tube, thus protecting the teeth.
