DOGS LISTEN IN
A QUEER CONCERT. (“Sydney Sun.” Service.) LONDON, March 7. A thousand unwilling mystified dogs throughout England, with wireless receivers, attached to their ears, listened to a dog concert broadcasted from London. The performers howled, accompanied by notes from bagpipes. 0 The listening dogs vigorously protested, creating pandemonium in sleepy towns. MARCONI COMPANY’S REPLY LONDON, March 7. The Marconi Company directors have written to Mr. MacDonald, stating that there is no desire on their part to suspend negotiations, and suggesting the Government sign the original’ agreement, oi’ alternatively, adopt the Australian plans.
