The usual bunch of buyers b’ was present but competition was on •< the slack side, owing to the coalmines dispute in the Westport district seriously affecting the butchery trade requirements. A complete clearance of the yard was effected. P> Sales were: 5 fat bullocks at £lB 3 ’ 10s; 13 at £18; 7 at £7 15s; 5 at £l2 10s; 8 at £l2; 5 at £10; 4 fat J® heifers at £ll 17s 6d; 3 fat heifers t at £ll ss.
