BRITISH AIRMEN ASSIST. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, September 18. A Jerusalem communique says that aeroplanes co-operated in the TranlsJordanian fighting, but did not bomb or fire. One R.A.F. airman is slightly wounded. The “Daily Express’s” Jerusalem correspondent says the Adwen tribe is renewing attacks. Editorially, the same p'aper says : — “It will probably come as a shock to the British public to learn that British aeroplanes, and possibly troops, as well, are involved in Trans-Jordania. If we continue to Zionise and Emirise the Arabs, the British taxpayer will be dragged into a war costing millions.
