HEART DISEASE

DEATH OF A CHINESE.

About 7.15 a.m. to-day, Constable J. Hughes received information from James Fong Mog to the effect that a Chinese was dead in the Chinese quarters dn Johnston. Street. The Constable found the dead body of Chow Young Go in a room upstairs. There were no marks of violence on the body.

Dr. J. W. Mcßrearty was called, and stated that he had been attending the deceased, whose heart was in an advanced state of disease. He had ne hesitation in giving- a certificate of death. Chow Young Go was born in China 60 years ago. He was well-known at Greyniouth, where he had resided for a number of years. Deceased left no money or property, and his countrymen are arranging for his burial.
