AMUSEMENTS

PEERLESS PICTURES. Will Rogers in ‘One Glorious Day' will be shown at the Town Hall tonight for the last time. On Friday and Saturday and ,at the matinee Saturday, Wm. Farnum will be seen in “A Stage Romance,” based on Alexandre Dumas’ famous play. Farnum is seen as Edmund Kean, probably the greatest actor of all time, whose “genius allied to madness” was proverbial. In this (picture 'he tries to help a wealthy orphan girl who is about to marry a rogue and roue. And such a mess as he gets into with the Count Koefeld, a diplomat, when the latter finds the Countess’ fan in Kean’s dressing room at the theatre! But the incident when Kean, while playing Hamlet, denounces from the stage the Prince of Wales, his most intimate friend, as the vilest debauchee in England, is startling indeed, and conveys the greatest thrill in a truly great pictuie. The master hand of Herbert Brenon directed the making of this suborb photo-play. The supports include a two-reel .Sunshine Comedy. BRUNNER AND AHAURA. In the above school to-morrow (Friday) evening and Ahaura on Saturday evening, the Peerless Pictures -will screen a fine programme. The star feature is a 5-reel Paramount entitled “Ducks and Drakes” featuring Bebe Daniels. Another item on the same programme is a 2-rcel comedy “ I'he Moonshiner,” starring Roscoe Arbuckle. The following prices will be charged : Adults 2/2; children 1/1.
