WOODVILLE RACES FIRST DAY’S RESULTS. (Per Press Association.) WOODVILLE, January 31. The weather is fine for the opening day of the Woodville races, while the attendance is large. Results:—HURDLES, 1 3-4 miles.—Olynthus 1, Kail 2, Revelry 3. Also started— Athens 11. and Ardienne. Won by a length. Time 3.25. SAPLING STAKES, 5 furlongs.— l, Taweka 2, Fairy Ring 3. Also started—Takaroa, The Drake and Indiana. Won easily by two lengths. Time 1.3 3-5. Ruahine Handicap, 6 furlongs.— Mountain March 1, Nursing Sister 2, Birkie 3. —Scr.—lsland and Vitella. Won by a neck.
