It was mentioned by Mr Massey, in reply to a question, that he has no information about the recent successful Eng Hah test of Taranaki ironsaml, but the Government is sending 20 tens of iron sand and a similar quantity of Parapa iron ore to England for a trial. CHAOTIC WOOL POSITION. It was suggested by the Leader of the Oposition in the House to-day that in view of the chaotic opinions of farmers regarding the comin gseason’s wool clip, it would be advisable to make public all the information in the Government’s possession. Mr Massey replied that as the question was so important he would prepare a reply. He realised that growers were entitled to a full explanation as to what had taken place, adding that although there - was reason to be careful in handling the corning season’s clip, there was no reason for any serious anxiety, though there had keen a fall in prices and a. large quantity was in store- in the United Kingdom, hence the existing difficulty.
