Also started —Orleans, Pretty Bobby, Pawerewere, Te Toa, Hyginas, Warning, and O’Rane. Won by half a ' length. Time 2.45. TRIAL PLATE, 5 furlongs.— Militaire (8.0) 1, Prodigal (8.0) 2, Pakaraka (8.0) 3. Also started—Grey Sapphire, Listowel, Fallwin, Princess Mariont, Manalto, Regard, Turakuia, Admiration, Merry Queen, Rangiara, Sack eye, Hallunation, Some Fashion, Springtide, Equitable, Birkie, War Nurse, Watercall, Miss Gazeley and Super Six. Won bv a neck. Time 1.6.
