CATASTROPHE AT MERCURY BAY

The Northern Steam Ship Go's auxiliary schooner Te Teko was completely wrecked at Slipper Island, near Mercury Bay, on Friday night of last week. Joseph Gobie, one of the crew, was drowned. . The others arrived at Tairua safely.
