HEAVY FINE IMPOSED,

TE KUITI, August 7
At the Magistrate’s D. E iCorban and Co. were charged with selling benzine in excess of the pr.ee fixed by Order-in-Council. Evidence showed that it was bought at 22s XOd per case and sold at 19s to 22s a tin. The Magistrate said the case was such that he must impose aTieavv penalty. A fine of £75 and costs was inflicted.
