ARAIIURA FAT STOCK SALE. & At the above yards yesterday the usual fortnigntly fixture was held, the yarding comprising UU head of South cattle, and with one *■ or two exceptions the pens were all prime cattle. Competition was exceedingly keen throughout the sale, which can be classed as the dearest so far held this winter. Ox ■) and cow beef was easily £3 10s per hundred, and in one or two instances exceeded this figure. Messrs Gihh Bros.’ cattle, which had been on the road several days, were yarded in good condition and sold well. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold
