It was resolved that the resig*-iiatio-ns of Messrs Boys and .C hampion he received with regret. Re a letter from the West Coast Centre offering' tournament to the Grey Club, to be played on January 2Gth, 27th and ,28th, it was resolved that the Centre he informed that the dates fixed are not suitable to the Grey Club, and therefore on these grounds it can-

not accept the tournament. 'The annual levy struck by the Centre was passed for payment. The following sub-committees were appointed:— Ground Committee—Messrs J. Fletcher and Wilkes. Match Committee Messrs J, Fletcher, Wilkes and Latta. Refreshment Commit tee—Messrs Scott, Topliss, Bourke, and that Secretary and President he exoihcio members of all committees. Resolved that the President or Vice-President, together with the Secretary, sign all cheques. Resolved that the telephone he connected with the pavilion for six months from Ist October next. Resolved that committee meetings he held fortnightly.
