Tenders are invited for cartaga outpat, Orwell Creek Sawmill, to Ahaura Station. Conditions of contract at Mark Sprot's, Greymouth, or at yard, Ahaura. Tenders close on iiiursday with C. Daly, Ahaura. Bushfellers are advised that Harley and Co., desire to let a contract for felling 25 to 50 acres of bush on Gebbie"s farm, New River, Camerons. On Friday next at 3 p.m. m Kaye s Hall, Taylorville, a grand ball in ard of the Broken Hill miners will be held. Miss Watson's orchestra will supply the music which is sufficient to say that nothing will be wanting. A first-class supper will-also be provided.
A musical evening aiul coffee supper will be held in the Salvation Army Hall to-night to celebrate the 33rd Anniversary and assist the local corps and band funds which are in need of support. Donations from friends will be greatly appreciated if sent to the officer in charge. On Friday August 13th at 2.30 at. the Auction Rooms, Miickay Street, Greymouth, Messrs G.' W. Moss and Co. under instructions from the mortgagee, will sell by public auction two fine properties situated in Blaketown.
