— (Own Correspondent.) A BATH. At the monthly meeting of the Westland Hospital Board last evening some of the difficulties of the master of the Ivnmara Old
People’s Home has to contend Avith Avere mentioned. One Avas the difficulty be bad in getting some of the old men to take a bath. One patient obstinately refused to take it. and as it avus absolutely necessary that the patients’ clothes should be cleaned. The method employed Avas the only means of getting them from him. SURGEON’S REPORT.' # v -'The report of the SurgeonSuperintendent of the Westland Hospital, read last night, Avas to the effect that there were 27 admissions during* the month, 15 discharges, and 33 remaining in hospital. WAR MEMORIAL WING. At the meeting of the Hospital Board last evening the sum of £l2 Avas received from Miss Henderson, Arahnra, being proceeds of an entertainment held there in aid of the Avar memorial Aving. On the motion of Mr Blank, seconded by Mr Davidson, it Avas resolved that a letter of thanks he sent to Miss Henderson.
