TOTARA FLAT SALES.

The second sale of the season took place at the Totara Flat saleyards yesterday, when approximately 200 head of cattio were yarded, including some good lines of young and grown cattle. The bidding was not too brisk, with the result that several lines were passed. These, -however, were sold privately, subsequently with the result that practically the whole of the yarding was cleared. Mark Sprot and Co. report having sold as follows: —

On .account of Mr T. Shannahan—l3 yearlings at £5 15a. On account of Messrs Mulcare Bros.7 steers at £5 6s. On account of Mr J. J. Halpin—l shorthorn bull at £lO. On account of Mr T.
