OLD BOYS.

ASSOCIATION MEETING.

At the general meeting of the Old Boys' Association, held in the Young Men's Club on the l'6th of October, ' It was resolved that a-sports meeting be held, consisting of schools' relay races, dancing, and numerous other events, which will be advertised later. The object of the sports meeting is to raise funds to assist in building an old people's home. It was decided to ask. the teachers, of schools to assist the Association with the school events. ,

It Avas resolved that the Secretary write to the Athletic Association asking for a permit for same and also that the Trotting Club be approached with regard to the use of Victoria Park.

Mr. J. "Walton was appointed secretary of the Sports Committee. A committee was also delegated to wait upon the ladies with regard to the tea, rooms on the Park for Boxing Day. The matter of electing the sports officials was left in the hands of the committee.
